As I was reading this Poem this music came on and it was a little creepy. It added to the affect of my reading. This poem is talking about how when we go into the night that we should be careful. Night time can be a little bit scary and you never know what to expect. This is one reason why I hate walking alone in the dark, it is a little scary because you cannot see everything like you can when there is light out side.
I thought that this poem had really good detailed and it made me think about many different things. This was good because it made it so I was able to relate to my own life instead of just reading it.

Blog Post #7 Cause and Effect
The Story I rad was The Beguiling Truth About Beauty!
I really enjoyed this story it talked about how we see ourselves and how others see us. For example it talked about how if you had a blemish on your face, you most likely hate it and think it is the ugliest thing you have ever seen. But to your peers and the people around you, that blemish makes you who you are and is beautiful because it is unqie to you.
I thought that this was interesting because it is so true, we are so hard on ourselves were in reality we are all amazing and are gorgoues in our own way.
One of the the examples that I thought was really interesting is a lady worked with models and took there pictures all day and with them she began to feel like she was fat but when she was done with work and stepted out into the real world she did not think she was fat anymore.
I thought that this was an amazing example because it helps tell that the world just likes to make us feel bad about ourselfs and makes us sometimes feel that we should look a certain way, were in reality it does not matter.
I liked this story and we all should be ourselfs for who we are not hoe the world wants us to be.

Blog Post #6 Responding to Using Comparision-Contrast for a Purpose
FIRE AND ICE
I liked this poem because it kept my attention and it proves the point that is being made with comparing and contrast. It talks about the world ending in fire but then it goes about talking about how the some people say that the world could end in ice. It made me think about what I think would happen. I think if the world were to either be on fire or ice. I think it would burn up in flames instead of freeze! I think fire balls look cooler then ice balls anyway. There is a lot more dimension when it comes to fire. With comparing and contrasting you want to different ideas that are different so you have room to tell why they are different and what you think about them both. Another reason why I liked this poem is I liked how the writer stated his opinion that he thinks that it would go on fire first but if it were to happen again it would be ice. But I liked how he did not just come out and say that. This is a good poem.

Blog Post #3 My Narrative Essay Will Be About...
As I am sitting here thinking about what a good thing to write my narrative paper on I thought of something! I am going to write about a college students life and the experiences they have. I am still not sure if I want to write about my life per say, if I want to make it true or if I want to make it up and put some of my life and some of other peoples life as well as maybe make some things up. But I really like this idea of writing about college because it hits really close to home.

#1 How I feel About Reading and Writing
I actually do not mind writing! I love writing about random things and about me. That is why I love writing in my journal. Because it doesn't matter what I write or even if it is not the write grammar or spelling. I just get to write about everything that is going on! I think it is pretty sweet, and it is so fun to go back and read it later! But even when I am writing papers I don't mind it too much. Once I get an idea I can write for a little bit, but it doesn't always make sense. I like to write, some days more than others.
